Well it's not very often I'm lost for words but I think I can certainly say I'm finding it hard to find them today!! To commemorate the lives of Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh I have drawn this piece 'Together Again At Christmas'. I decided to set this illustration at Balmoral Castle, the favourite home of the Queen.  Both stand wearing typical attire they would've worn whilst visiting the castle.  If you look closely you will note the larger baubles have images that I have added to represent the queens life. Drawn in Caran D'ache pencils this piece will make a vibrant additon to your home or make a lovely gift this Christmas. It's not quite finished yet but I'm getting there!! Once again I've chosen Caran d'Ache polychromo pencils to draw in. As the Royals loved their time in Balmoral Castle I chose this as my starting point. I wanted to create a relaxed Queen and Duke of Edinburgh so I opted for country wear, the Duke in his kilt and the Queen in her matching kilt and a cardigan. It wouldn't be complete without a little corgi sitting at the Queen's feet!! The Queen decorates the tree and the Duke and Corgi watch, if you look closely you will notice that most of the baubles depict a significance to the Royal couple. Look closely to see if you can see!!
