https://www.cherishedgiftco.co.uk/queenelizabethDue to the popularity of my Queen Elizabeth II illustration depicting an afternoon tea I thought it apt that I draw a Christmas piece.
It's not quite finished yet but I'm getting there!! Once again I've chosen Caran d'Ache polychromo pencils to draw in. As the Royals loved their time in Balmoral Castle I chose this as my starting point. I wanted to create a relaxed Queen and Duke of Edinburgh so I opted for country wear, the Duke in his kilt and the Queen in her matching kilt and a cardigan. It wouldn't be complete without a little corgi sitting at the Queen's feet!!
The Queen decorates the tree and the Duke and Corgi watch, if you look closely you will notice that most of the baubles depict a significance to the Royal couple. Look closely to see if you can see!!
